Greetings, Salutations and a Grand post Katrina welcome to the sun fun state of Texas and the 17th annual Miss Gay USofA at Large Pageant. This is where you will find out all of the innocent gossip from the trenches. This is purely in fun, take everything with a grain of salt, and remember it’s not the facts, it’s how you report them.
As tradition dictates our first cup of tea deals with the popular party platoon from Spring Vegas. First up to bat, the illustrious representative from BC Inc., Josh R. Seems he is trying to fulfill all of the expectations for a whole troop of back up dancers, but all by himself. He was last seen wandering the hotel parking lot trying to locate entertainment and a straw. I’m not sure as to what kind of entertainment he was looking for but I’m pretty sure I know why he wanted the straw.
Speaking of the parking lot, Dion Summers were last seen there heading on a rescue mission to locate some poor lost valley boys. Just who couldn’t find their way home from Station 4?
It was nice to see the Sir Ivana at registration today. We all knew the fair was in town, but when did they start bringing the bearded lady with them?
Our wonderful jewel boy Billy wants to clear one thing up for the record…. A one night stand means one night only… don’t come back for seconds.
We are so happy to have the local diva Maya gracing us with her presence this week. I’m just a little confused on one thing… how fish is too much fish? Would it be when one refers to themselves as chicken of the sea.
On the subject of local yokuls, Ms. Paige took on the position of Welcome Wagon Tuesday night at the ever so loved Zippers. We were glad she was there to provide us with a first class show though the club themselves had no clue of the show in progress.
I would like to extend my congratulations to our two friendly MC’s last night. It was wonderful that Kel and Quell could catch up on old times over the mic. Now what’s this about a phone booth? Inquiring minds want to know?
Now Ms. Victoria. I understand that when you are judging and performing time is very limited. But if you can make time for a photo shoot, then one would think you could make your entrance cue for your number.
A special hi there to my dear friend Reggie. She always knows how to treat a lady. I don’t think my trips to Dallas would be quite as much fun without her.
A posted notice for Kitty and Khrystal, interviews are being held at the hotel, so don’t go heading for the bar again.
A fight was reported to have taken place somewhere tonight. Just to let all know, Krista V. was nowhere around.
Sadly, I must report that Silky was unable to make it this week. I did happen to notice a certain Miss Black and a certain Miss Classic walking the streets together. Looks as though the training is in progress…. just going to show that you can teach an old girl new tricks.
Programing note for you TV-aholics. If you happen to be home before Sunday evening, make sure to flip over to Extreme Makeover Home Edition. You could very possibly find our beloved Nathan as one of the on-camera extras.
