How can I compete at Miss Gay USofA or Miss Gay USofA at Large?

To compete at either of the National Pageants, you must first qualify by being the Winner or First Alternate at a State or Regional Preliminary Pageant.  You can not enter the pageant without competing in a State or Regional Pageant. back to top

How Can I compete at Mr. GayŽ USofA?

For 2008, Mr. GayŽ USofA will have a limited number of preliminary pageants. In addition, for this year only, you may enter Mr. GayŽ USofA at an open registration and not compete in a preliminary pageant. More information can be found at www.MrGayUSofA.org back to top

How can I find out about a pageant near me?

You will find a complete list of scheduled pageants on the calendar page.  You will find a complete list of all pageants and their  winners   by clicking on the tab for each system on any page. From there you can find a list of qualifiers. back to top

Can anyone enter a state pageant?

State Promoters set the residency requirements for State Pageants.  In addition, some states require that you place as Winner or First Alternate at a city or local regional pageant.  On the calendar page you will find links for more information about upcoming State Preliminaries, email links if the promoter has email, and website links if the State Pageant has a website.  back to top

How can I produce my own Preliminary Pageant?

If you would like to become an official promoter of a State or Regional Preliminary Pageant, please see the New Pageant page.  If you would like to produce a local pageant to your State Pageant, please contact the promoter directly.  You will find email links to promoters by clicking on the "Coming Up"  button on any page and selecting the appropriate system. back to top

Do I qualify for an At Large Pageant?New

The official Rules and Regulations state that to compete in the Miss Gay USofA at Large Pageant you must be male, at least 21 years of age, by the date of the National Pageant, and weigh more than 200 pounds.  There is no qualification based on height for this system.

If a contestant does not weigh 200 pounds, they will not be permitted to compete at the National Pageant, even if they weight 200 at their preliminary.

Do I qualify for a Classic Pageant?New

The official Rules and Regulations state that to compete in the Miss Gay USofA Classic  Pageant you must be male, at least 40 years of age, by the date of the National Pageant.

How can I get a video of a prior contest?

Currently, USofA Pageants has a limited number of videos and DVD's from some of our previous Miss Gay USofA Pageants available for sale.  These professionally produced tapes are only available for Final Night competition.  You can visit the online store to purchase these tapes.  If you would like to purchase videos from Miss Gay USofA at Large, please contact Kalani Productions for more information.
